Background
The son of a wildlife biologist and a city clerk, raised in the small town Cottonwood, ID, Sean Wilson has lived in Latah County for over 18 years. An avid sportsman, Wilson admits, "I was intimately familiar with a large number of the parcels for sale in the county before I ever contemplated Real Estate as a career." An avid birdwatcher, and very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, hydrology, and geology of the county, he knows the outdoors. Also participating or representing property owners as an intimate part of several significant development or rezone projects through the years, and with codes for new construction homes, he is very familiar with the city and county planning, zoning, and building processes; He is as personable as he is versatile. He was likely one of the youngest people in the history of Latah County to receive his brokers license, after practicing for just over two years.
Wilson points to two major quotes as guideposts in his business and personal life
- The Golden rule: Do unto others as they would do unto you.
- A quote from former President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge: "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius Will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated failures. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
